Saoirse Ronan is married!
The "Little Women" star, 30, and "Slow Horses" star Jack Lowden, 34, have tied the knot in Edinburgh, Scotland, online records viewed by USA TODAY show.
The Irish Independent first reported the news, and according to the outlet, the couple held a small, secret ceremony last weekend with only their closest friends in attendance.
USA TODAY has reached out to representatives for the actors.
Ronan and Lowden have reportedly been dating since 2018 after they starred together that year in the film "Mary Queen of Scots," with the former playing the title character and the latter playing her husband Henry Stuart. They worked together again on the film "The Outrun," which they both produced and Ronan starred in. It premiered in January at the Sundance Film Festival.

'Little Women':How Greta Gerwig and Saoirse Ronan updated the beloved tale
Ronan, meanwhile, has received four Oscar nominations for her performances in "Atonement," "Brooklyn," "Lady Bird" and "Little Women." The latter two films were both directed by Greta Gerwig. Later this year, the actress will star in the Steve McQueen World War II drama "Blitz."

Speaking with the British newspaper i in 2023, Lowden described Ronan as "one of the best actors in the world" and said having her at home makes it "a lot easier" for him to prepare for auditions.
"Sometimes she gives a better performance than me off camera and you're a bit like, 'Can you, erm, not?'" he joked.
Lowden also compared Ronan to the acting version of a Ferrari. "My first love is actors," he told the outlet. "And when you're given a Ferrari like her, it's all about how you make everything good for the Ferrari to show off. Don't make a Ferrari do what a Renault Clio does. It's a dreadful analogy but they're like gold dust, good actors. When there's someone like that, you just have to facilitate them and you will get gold. And my God, did we."
Speaking to Harper's Bazaar, Ronan said in reaction to these comments, "When a person you respect as much as I do him says that, it means more than anyone else's opinion."
